Joshua Escandon was going to lunch here with his wife Feb. 26 when his instincts kicked in because he heard a woman screaming for help. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Joshua Escandon and his wife, Ashley, were on their way to lunch in Lancaster, Calif., when Escandon intervened in an assault, Feb. 26, 2012.
