How to Sneak a Claymore Onto a Flight

Personally, I'm a bit confused by the reactions. Should a computer tech not travel with pliers and his small tool kit in his carry on? A screwdriver can be kinda sharp. Are plastic kindergarten scissors ok? Phones and alarm clocks can be used as remote and direct detonating devices. Should you ship those to your hotel ahead of you? Is the goal of the whole exercise to prevent hijackings and attacks, or is it to create an illusion of safety by kid-proofing all passengers and aircraft? An inert training claymore is no more dangerous than a hollowed out bullet charm on a necklace or key chain. Should everyone have a security problem with one of those simply because of how you "feel" about it? Particularly in the realm of hijackings, it's not box cutters that commandeer aircraft, it's hijackers. Frankly, a key chain, properly held, can be just as effective a weapon as box cutt...
