Army Secretary impressed with cyber studies program at Naval Postgraduate School #ccureit

MONTEREY, Calif. (May 24, 2012) -- Secretary of the Army John McHugh visited the Naval Postgraduate School here, May 21, to learn more about research conducted by the university and to see firsthand the academic programs military officers take part in. McHugh and his staff began the afternoon by receiving a command brief from NPS President Dan Oliver and key faculty members, and were introduced to the development of the university's new cyber security degree program. "The Naval Postgraduate School is an important place to the Army, and we need to make sure we are taking full advantage of it," said McHugh during the command briefing. "The joint approach to training at the graduate and postgraduate level is impressive and I have an enormous respect for the work that is being done here.
