Arbroath Royal Marines help former commando on epic fundraising walk

It has been a privilege and a pleasure to join during the legs of his journey in the region and we wish him well in his trip to Land’s End. Captain Mike Cole, Royal Marines “It is truly remarkable what Taff has set out to achieve and he is raising money for three very worthy causes in Cancer Research UK, Alzheimer Scotland and the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to join during the legs of his journey in the region and we wish him well in his trip to Land’s End,” said Capt Mike Cole Royal Marines, who led the Whiskey Company detachment marching alongside the walker. Taff, who lives in Angus, is due to complete his 1,262-mile epic in late July after 85 days on the road. He’s previously walked from Arbroath to Poole – a mere stroll of about 500 miles.
