China 'ready to mass produce' strike-capable CH-5 UAV, says report - IHS Jane's 360

China has announced that it is ready to mass produce the Cai Hong 5 (Rainbow 5, or CH-5) strike-capable unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that was unveiled at Airshow China in November 2016, according to a 15 July report by the China Daily newspaper. The announcement was made shortly after the first mass-production model of the CH-5 conducted its first flight from an airfield in China’s northern Hebei Province.
