YONGSAN GARRISON, Republic of Korea -- Soldiers of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan, lent their helping hands to its local neighbor by sweeping snow away from the city walk ways, Feb. 5. Snow that has not cleared turns into ice and causes injuries to many pedestrians. According to the Korean Meteorological Administration, this year's snow precipitation marked one of the highest in Korea, and cleaning up the mass of snow became a great burden not only to the garrison but also to its local neighbor, Yongsan-gu. The HHC Soldiers shoveled the snow away from the sidewalk that connects Gate 1 (Civilian Personnel Advisory Center Gate) to Noksapyeong Station.
