Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Paul E. Mock was sworn in this morning as the ESGR National Chair.

Today, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel selected Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Paul E. Mock as the national chair for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). Mock will be sworn in tomorrow. The ESGR national chair is an official Department of Defense, three-year volunteer position and carries the protocol status of a military four-star flag officer. “Mr. Mock comes to us with a wealth of experience in the employer community, the Reserve Components and supporting military families,” said Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness Jessica L.
