Readout of Meeting Between Secretary Hagel and Indonesian Minister of Defence Purnomo Yusgiantoro Pentagon Press Secretary George Little provided the following readout: “Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel met with Indonesian Minister of Defence Purnomo Yusgiantoro May 31 at the annual Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore. “The two leaders reaffirmed the importance of deepening ties in support of the U.S.-Indonesia Comprehensive Partnership, an initiative of Presidents Barack Obama and Susilo BambangYudhoyono, calling for closer ties between our two governments and societies.
