#SBA Announces Plans to Expand Post-#Military #Entrepreneurship Training #SmallBIZ #Veterans

The Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced plans to expand its post-military entrepreneurship training program to not just transitioning troops, but any veteran who is interested in becoming an entrepreneur. The program called “Boots to Business: Reboot” will launch this July at the White House, offering 12 new classes in 12 different cities with each class training up to 100 veterans on the basic skills needed to launch a small business. The current “Boots to Business” program is offered as an elective track within the Defense Department’s efforts to help military men and women have a smooth transition into civilian life. With a mission to give participants “the tools and knowledge they need to identify a business opportunity and launch their enterprise,” the program will allow troops to take a two-day course on business fundamentals taught by SBA experts, with...
