MILLINGTON, Tenn. (NNS) -- Results from the Fiscal Year (FY) 13 Active Duty E7 Board were released July 31, and show Navy's force management initiatives are having positive effects. Advancement opportunity for the FY13 board increased to 23.96 percent, nearly 6 percent more than FY12 as approximately 4,400 Sailors were selected from a pool nearly 19,000 candidates. Notable opportunity this cycle included Logistics Specialist (Submarine) (LS grp 1) with 100 percent opportunity and 22 quotas. Also showing strong opportunity was Yeoman (Submarine) (YN Grp 1) at 55.77 percent and 29 quotas from 33.93 with 19 quotas in FY12.
